History

Ochil Tower School which is part of the international Camphill Movement, started in 1966, becoming a Camphill School in 1972.

Initially all pupils were housed in the original manor house, Belvidere, with classrooms in a portakabin. Over the years, there has been extensive building work; 3 new houses , the most recent in 2006, an old Coach House renovated to be used as residential accommodation, and latterly as a classroom building, a Hall and classrooms, and a separate classroom building.

Further development of the Coach House courtyard area is planned over the next few years, to offer further classroom and therapy accommodation.
